Who Should you date

Cheap dates Ideas

Going for Day Trip
Talking a walk is easily the cheapest date you can do with your lady friend. A romantic walk on a beach or a stroll through the woods can pass hours. You can easily show your sensitive side by filling her with bullshit names of birds, flowers and trees.

Going for a Drink.
A coffee is easily the cheapest, no more than $4 dollars each and you could share a slice of cake or cookie, being the gentleman that you are, you will give her the larger piece. Nice.

Catching a movie.
There are plenty of cheap deals with vouchers, student deals and cheap days, in both cinema's and video store's.

Going for a Meal.
For the cheapest option, sharing a pizza is the cheapest at about $8 and its romantic, sharing anything is romantic. If you want something formal how about brunch again quite cheap no more than $20 each.

A Night in by the fire.
Board games are nothing to laugh at. You have the opportunity to show that your a competitive but fair person, be careful if you are playing a general knowledge, you don't want to come across as a dumb ass.

Other ideas not to be forgotten about:

A cheap bottle of wine or a few cans are always good.

A Picnic, just a few sambos and a cheap bottle of wine. perfect.

Happy Hour, easy as.

Planking, I don't know but all the kids are doing it these days.

The Type of Girl you need to date.

Possible marriage material.

·         The Best Friend Girl:

Not to be confused with your best girl-friend. This girl will laugh at your jokes, play sports and x-box with you. She will be into everything you are into. She will text you to see if you want to catch that movie you wanted to see, not because she wants to be with you but she wants to actually to see that movie. She is the female version of you.
If this is what you want go find her and HI 5 her.

Note to self: She may start competing with you and even start winning

·         The Independent Girl:

This girl wants a partner but doesn’t need a partner in her life. She is very sure of what she wants from life. She likes her own space and is okay with you spending a lot of time with your friends but needs you to act responsible. You need to match her maturity to score this girl and you need to pull your weight in the day to day living, she’s definitely not your mum.

Note to self: She may not want kids.

·         The Homemaker

Cooking, cleaning and washing. You know what I'm talking about here.

She is happy, when the time is right, to give up her job, because she won’t call it a career, to become your personal maid. She will always want to cook for you. She knows her way around babies and she will do everything to please your mum.
This girl just wants a partner to give her a nice home, a happy family and a healthy husband that wants the same.

Note to self: Don’t take her for granted.

·         The Health Guru.

Yoga, low blood pressure and a long life is what she will give you. She will have a fridge full of fruit and veg and they will probably be all organic. Her pastimes will be tramping, cycling and feeding her family healthy creations.

Note to self: Take-away’s and boozing will be a no-no.

·         The “Stand By Your Man” Girl

She is very proud of her man, she is with you through thick and thin. She complements you when you’re feeling down, she knows when you’ve had a hard day and will listen to all your problems. She will talk you up to her friends but will not lie about you or to you. She will be straight up and honest with you. This girl is part independent girl and part homemaker. She will know all the tips and information you will need for interviews and your business proposals.

Note to self: Keep her in the loop she sees it as a business partnership as well as a marriage.

50 Questions for you to think about

People these days seem to just follow each other around like sheep. To busy to stop and smell the rose's.
These are 50 questions for you, hopefully they will make you think about who you are and what makes you happy.

  1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
  2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
  3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
  4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
  5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
  6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
  7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
  8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
  9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
  10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
  11. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
  12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
  13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
  14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
  15. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
  16. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
  17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What's holding you back?
  18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
  19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
  20. Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
  21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
  22. Why are you, you?
  23. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
  24. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
  25. What are you most grateful for?
  26. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
  27. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
  28. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
  29. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
  30. What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
  31. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
  32. If not now, then when?
  33. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
  34. Have you ever been with somebody, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
  35. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
  36. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
  37. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
  38. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
  39. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
  40. When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
  41. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
  42. Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?
  43. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
  44. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?
  45. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
  46. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
  47. When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?
  48. What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
  49. In 5 years from now, will you rememeber what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?
  50. Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?

Quick Tips: Tidy/Smart Casual

Quick Tips: Tidy/Smart Casual

Tidy casual, smart casual and business casual are loosely defined dress codes used in professional and informal circumstances. From what the internet has to offer this is what I have come up with to what they mean. You may think otherwise.

Rules and guidelines:

Dress shoes, or dressy slip-on shoes.
No trainers or skater shoes.

Dark socks to match your shoes. Please no white socks.

Suit trousers are perfect, chinos and dark slacks. Nothing baggy.
Jeans, good quality, fitted dark blue jeans. Not suitable for all occasions.
If in doubt forget about it.

No shorts, boardies or speedos please.

Wear a belt always.

Shirts, a fitted, long sleeve shirt preferably, rolled-up sleeves are ok if you like.
No t-shirts. Polo’s, maybe, it depends on the situation, avoid logos and slogans.

Ties are not needed, top button open, second button only if the venue is outside.

No loud colour’s, play it safe.

Sunglasses outside only, your just a douche if you wear sunglasses inside.
You think you're cool, everyone else thinks you're blind.

Always

·         Use an Iron. There is no excuse for having a wrinkled and creased looking tea-towel that you call a shirt.

·         Wear a belt.  Every man should have at least 2 belts. A simple black belt to go with your black pants, and a tanned leather belt for your jeans.

·         Never wear white socks. Ever. You cant go wrong with black or very, very, very dark blue socks.
